I'm curious if anyone can name a cookie-cutter townhome community (100+ units) that wasn't designed for retirement that has been around for 50 years. How do these developments age? Do they appreciate like denser single family communities that have uniques designs? Do homeowners of cookie cutter developments have a similar pride of ownership that keeps the developments well maintained? My sense is they don't age well and they aren't as well maintained. I think it will be hard to come up with examples.
