I struggle with Jeff Bezos as the right voice in this instance. It is also tough to write off your job as a source of happiness when you spend such ungodly hours working. I've had two main jobs. One made a lot of money. One followed a dream. Neither of those factors changed my enjoyment for more than a short while. What made me happy was exploring curiosities, testing my creativity, and forging quality relationships beyond water cooler small-talk. Those things aren't for everyone, and it is often hard to find something that truly ignites you. You'll never find a job that is all unicorns and rainbows.
