I really think trophies should be for 1st and in some cases 2nd and maybe 3rd. Part of this is I’m a minimalist and don’t think we should clutter our houses or landfill with these things. A good coach will make a team feel special and the relationships that can develop are the true trophies.

Leagues with T-shirt uniforms are great as those become bedtime or house/play shirts that commemorate the season/team.
